Take a fantastic journey around the coastlines of the world without leaving Torquay! Welcome to Living Coasts, Paignton Zoo's new visitor attraction in Torquay.
Living Coasts features a range of fascinating coastal creatures from loud and loveable penguins to playful fur seals, colourful puffins to sea ducks - they're all at home in this amazing new environment.
There are reconstructed beaches, cliff-faces and an estuary. A huge meshed aviary allows the birds to fly free over your head, while special acrylic tunnels give stunning crystal clear views of the birds and seals underwater.
Then relax in the water-side cafÈ with its stunning views across Tor Bay, where you can enjoy morning coffee, lunch or a real Devon cream tea - all with the best view in South Devon. Living Coasts also has a well-stocked shop in the style of a colonial harbour, with gifts and souvenirs for everyone.
Torre Abbey
History comes alive at Torbay's most historic building. Built in 1196 you can trace the 800 years of development from monastery, imposing home of wealthy families, to Mayor's official residence of modern day.
The Torre Abbey chapel may be hired for private services, such as christenings, funerals, renewal of marriage vows and blessings following civil weddings. Under present legislation it may not be used for weddings.

Cockington
Cockington Park is ideal for a short walk or a whole day out in the country. Its famous typical English thatched houses remained virtually untouched by turning of the centuries.
You sure won¥t miss beautiful building, Cockington court with restaurants, tea rooms together with an organic kitchen garden and craft shop.
To reach Cockington Court, you cross a narrow road, via a gate, and walk along a muddier path. There is also a separate route for horse-riders. The pathway brings you to behind the Court and Cockington Church, where you have a choice -- to stop for a cup of tea of coffee and something to eat, or head off on another of the paths.
Babbacombe Model Village
Enter a world of miniature marvels! Visit the English countryside in 1/12th scale including models of famous landmarks. New features include the 'Babbacombe Junction' model railway exhibition and 'Behind the Scenes', an audio-visual presentation of the history and making of the park.
Over 400 models including many working/moving displays, 13,000 miniature people, humorous scenes and 10,000 tiny bulbs for summer evening illuminations have helped make Babbacomble model village one of Devon's best loved attractions.
Kents Cavern
Kents Cavern is one of the most important Palaeolithic caves in Northern Europe and the oldest recognisable human dwelling in Britain. It holds beautiful and spectacular geological formations and significant prehistoric finds, some over 700,000 years old.
Enter an underground world packed with secrets from times gone by. Kents Cavern Caves sheltered prehistoric animals and the earliest cave people, and were used by Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman visitors.
